Responsibilities:

1. Creates innovative recruiting and sourcing strategies and screens candidates.This position recruits for all areas of the organization (Public Relations, Marketing, Film & TV Production, Accounting & Finance, Sponsorship, Administrative, Consumer Products, IT, etc.) and all levels of the organization.
2. Participates in all phases of the interview process. Conducts initial interviews, participates in and leads subsequent interviews as necessary.
3. Recruits and interviews quality candidates for all open opportunities in the corporate office and assists with recruiting for international offices as necessary
4. Devleops and implements sourcing strategy for open positions
5. Assists department heads and team leaders with development of job descriptions
6. Assists and advises hiring managers through the interview and selection process
7. Prepares weekly and monthly reporting/tracking for open positions (sourcing, status, etc.)
8. Manages aspects of internship program and collaborates with the HR team to continuously develop ways to make it even better.
9. Develops employee communication pieces
10. Helps brand and reinforce company culture
11. Conducts new hire orientations in conjunction with other members of the HR team.
12. Administrative duties – including data entry and file maintenance
13. Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned
14. Pursues growth and learning

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years diverse recruiting experience

- Experience recruiting for the types of positions listed in the Responsibilities section preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 1-3 years of HR generalist experience desired
• Proven ability to source and recruit candidates in innovative ways. Proven ability to utilize LinkedIn and similar sourcing desired.
• Knowledge of best practices in recruiting
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and research methods including online web tools, social networking, etc.
• Exceptional networking skills
• PHR preferred
• Ability to build relationships within the organization and with candidates
• Ability to manage competing and rapidly changing priorities
• Execllent working knowledge of employment law as it relates to recruiting, interviewing, drug and background screening, employment testing, etc.
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate, positive, customer-oriented demeanor
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Power Point and ability to learn other basic computer skills

Strategy for Winning:

Our office consists of people who are passionate, dedicated and innovative. The Media Content Coordinator is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the Zuffa media library including assets on video tape, DVD or digital file based. This position is also responsible for cloning, dubbing and shipping tapes and transferring files for broadcast partners and production vendors.

Responsibilities:

1. Inserts media information into Nesbit database and creates labels with a barcode number for each asset.
2. Continuously maintains the organization of the tape and DVD libraries, both on site at the company headquarters and offsite storage locations.
3. Clones and dubs tapes and DVDs and transfers content to hard drives for production vendors and broadcast partners.
4. Ships packages daily, using UPS, FedEx, and DHL, private couriers or airlines for domestic and international deliveries.
5. Scans out shipped packages into the database for tracking purposes.
6. Tracks all packages shipped daily to certify their on-time deliveries.
7. Digitizes media into the Digital Asset System and fulfills minor media content requests from broadcast partners and production vendors.
8. Works with video tape and DVD vendors to maintain department stock inventory on a weekly basis and maintains a spreadsheet of orders and pricing for invoicing and accounting purposes.
9. Reviews invoices from tape stock and DVD orders to ensure there are no pricing errors.
10. Maintains distribution lists and other checklists in Microsoft Excel of various programming assets to maintain the fulfillment of contracts with broadcast partners.
11. Arranges closed captioning orders with outside vendor and the delivery of finished product to the network.
12. Makes periodic trips to offsite storage to maintain and organize inventory including unpacking shipments and scanning assets to designated shelves.
13. Moves and transports heavy bins to offsite storage and build shelving for bins.
14. Ensures there is a clone of every master tape maintained in offsite storage.
15. Helps with loading of production and various equipment onto company semi-truck in days leading up to live events.
16. Maintains master corporate spreadsheet of programming content by ensuring each live and post produced show is logged and updated.
17. Works out of the Las Vegas headquarters.
18. Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

1. High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a post-production environment preferred.
3. Knowledge of digital content workflows, HD and SD video tape decks and DVD recorders a plus.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with all levels of the organization, as well as, outside production vendors and broadcast partners.
5. Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail a must.
6. Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
7. Experience with various shipping couriers including UPS, FedEx and DHL for domestic and international deliveries a plus.
8. Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work with database software.
10. Be able to lift heavy objects and do some physical labor.

Executive Assistant - Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) (Las Vegas, NV)

Position Summary:

This position provides all aspects of direct support/assistance to assigned executives.  This position has access to and regularly works with information of a sensitive, confidential, strategic, and critical nature requiring considerable discretion, independent judgment, tact and diplomacy. This position also requires above-average interaction with other Senior Management personnel; ad, therefore, requires a professional attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.    

Essential Functions:

1. Proactively manages a busy and complex calendar and partners with the assigned executive(s) to keep him/her on schedule.
2. Uses sound judgment and carefully ascertains the nature of incoming phone calls, accurately records messages, addresses issues on your own, and transfers calls as necessary.  Follows up with callers regarding information requests.
3. Proactively manages the workflow of assigned executive(s), including meetings, correspondence, and milestones.  Helps organize critical work projects.  Prioritizes and partners with assigned executive(s) to make sure that all objectives are addressed and handled in a timely manner.
4. Communicates in person and through correspondence with high level contacts inside and outside the company such as vendors, customers, and senior leaders.
5. Works with other members of internal departments as requested to promote departmental objectives.
6. Composes, types, and prepares correspondence, memos, presentations, confidential materials, etc. of the highest quality.
7. Schedules and coordinates meetings or other events as directed by assigned executive(s).
8. Prepares PowerPoint presentations for meetings or other events as directed by assigned executive(s).
9. Directly coordinates, or coordinates with Travel Department, travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and car services as requested and creates itineraries, including all confirmations and contact information for flights, hotel and transportation.  Updates itineraries and checks for new information pertaining to travel.
10. Maintains manuals, policy and procedure files, etc. in applicable format.
11. Prepares expense reports for assigned executive(s) as requested.
12. Files correspondence and other records.
13. Coordinates transmission of information with other users/suppliers.
14. Makes copies of correspondence and other materials.
15. Ensures adequate office supplies and processes order requests for additional office supplies as needed.
16. Runs errands as requested by assigned executive(s).
 

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED, college degree strongly preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an assistant to a high level individual within a fast-paced organization.
3. Outstanding organization, prioritization, analytical, and anticipatory skills.
4. Solid project management and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his/her own drive or initiative.
6. Must be flexible and responsive to evolving and changing business environment.
7. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with individuals in all levels of the organization, but particularly with members of the highest level of the organization.
8. Ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.
9. Excellent organizational skills.
10. Excellent attention to detail.
11. Ability to maintain confidential information.
12. Ability to travel 0-30%.
