Strategy for Winning:

Our office consists of people who are passionate, dedicated and innovative. This program offers you, as the intern, the opportunity to become directly involved in the Information Technology department activities. 

As an intern with Information Technology you will:

  • Providing first level helpdesk support to users (basic issues and troubleshooting) and escalating tickets if necessary
  • Setting up/moving user workstations for new hires and desk moves
  • Basic printer troubleshooting, calling for maintenance and running toner
  • Create how-to documentation
  • Assist with Day to Day network operations
  • Manage minor network configuration changes
  • Assist in varying levels of IT project management to include data collection and execution

We are seeking candidates that are:Information Technology majors, or other technology-related programs.

  • Strong computer-operating experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Officed programs: Word,Excel, PowerPoint,and Outlook.
  • Outgoing friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
  • Team player.
  • Willing to learn and grow.

Requirements:

- Must be enrolled in relevant academic program. Candidates that have already graduated at the start of the internship are not eligible unless you are receiving academic credit.
- May receive academic credit for the internship.
- Should be able to work a minimum of 30+ hours per week if also attending school or 35+ hours per week if not currently attending classes.
 

This is a paid internship, but does not provide housing, relocation or transportation assistance.

This program offers you, as the intern, the opportunity to become directly involved in the day to day activities in the Event Development Department at Zuffa. We strive to make your internship experience challenging and interesting and make every effort to tailor it to your specific career aspirations.

As an intern with Event Development you will:

- Assist with organizing and formatting the event schedule.
- Research competitive events in the markets we go into.
- Assist with preparation for meetings with current and prospective on-sale marketing and arena partners.
- Assist with preparation of presentation materials for meetings.
- Help activate Street Team initiatives.
- Put together in-depth research of potential event markets.
- Brainstorm creative ways to promote ticket sales.
- Create event recaps of ticket sales, executed promotions, marketing tactics and activations in the market.
- Research all the trends happening in sports and live events, and the marketing tactics being used.

- Support the Event Development team on various projects as needed.

We are seeking candidates that are:

- Sports Management, Marketing or Business majors, or other programs relevant to business development and sales. Junior, Senior or Graduate level preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Outgoing friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
