This position is based in Las Vegas, the UFC’s hometown and the Fight Capital of the World. The Ultimate Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an intern for our Research and Analytics department. The intern will:
Assist with the building of PowerPoint research decks
Assist in the tracking of brands/categories available for research by region
Assist in the beginning steps of analyses for various departments
Attend meetings to gain a better understanding of what your department does on a day-to-day and how they contribute to the company as a whole
What will you learn during the internship?·
How companies like the UFC use primary and secondary data sources to assist every department within the company
How to create data-driven stories that support sales efforts
What tools and partners are leverages for consumer and brand insights
How to interface with Simmons and Scarborough
Gain a better understanding of what to examine to gain a baseline understanding of your brand’s audience/consumers
We are seeking candidates that are:
- Finance, Marketing or Economics majors
- Should be very proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Is comfortable in meetings and calls with high profile people and media entities
- Has excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information
- Team player
- Willing to learn and grow
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20+ hours per week if also attending school or 30+ hours per week if not currently attending classes.
This is a paid internship but does not provide housing, relocation or transportation assistance.
