Strategy for Winning:

Our office consists of people who are passionate, dedicated and innovative.The Global Compliance Coordinator coordinates the athlete immigration process for assigned US and International events.  Maintains and updates both hard copy and electronic immigration files as well as teh related section of the comany Fighter Database for all athletes as per established guidelines.


1. Reviews upcoming fight cards to determine immigration and visa needs for fighters, staff and contractors. Performs research as necessary to determine country-specific visa requirements

2. Collects all relevant information needed for visa process, including but not limited to: completed immigration questionnaire, passport, digital passport photo and copies of promotional agreements from the Legal department .  Prepares and files US visa petitions and applications and files with the appropriate USCIS service center.

3.  Immediately informs the Senior Director, Licensing and Global Compliance with Global Compliance Managers and/or with outside counsel regarding complex immigration matters.

4.  Works as directed by Senior Director with Global Compliance Managers and/or with outside counsel regarding complex immigration matters.

5. Coordinates the Visa process with athlete, including, but not limited to, the filing the initial petition, return of receipt of filing from the USCIS or immigration counsel, tracking progress of the petition filing process through the online system, coordinating consulate appointments with fighter/manager and immigration counsel, confirming receipt of original petition approval notice with the counsel.

6.  Prepares DS-160 visa application via US online system.  Schedules Consulate visa interview appointment using the appropriate designated online appointment scheduling system.  

7.  Prepares and disseminates to the athlete all documents necessary for the athlete's consulate interviews at the US consulate.

8. Follows up with athlete/manager after consulate interview for outcome and confirms return of passports. 

9.  Collects, organizes and prepares Visa applications for assigned international events.

10. Updates electronic Event Grids with most up-to-date visa process; keeps travel department informed of any delays in the visa process.

11. Creates and maintains a spreadsheet for all visa approvals (e.g. I-797 and I-94).

12. Reports any concerns regarding the visa process to the Senior Director, Global Compliance immediately.

13. Ensures the Immigration section of the company Athlete Database is up-to-date and complete for all contracted athletes.

14. Ensures all new athlete information is entered/accurate in the electronic system.

15. Ensures all contracted athlete files are accurate/up-to-date in the electronic system.

16. Updates and maintains all hard copy immigration files per established guidelines.

17. Assists Global Compliance Managers with the immigration process for international events, including but not limited to: following up with staff/athletes to obtain any necessary Visa related information; obtaining any supporting documentation for special Visa circumstances.

18. Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

1. High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred
2. 3-5 years experience working as a paralegal/legal assistant or similar background
3. Customer-service driven
4. Significant time flexibility.
5. Extremely organized and detail-oriented
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships
7. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with individuals in all levels of the organization
8. Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information
9. Ability to prioritize and multi-task and handle various competing activities and interests simultaneously
10. Ability to use critical thinking in order to anticipate issues and problem solve
11. Ability to work well under pressure in a high stress environment with tight deadlines
12. Ability to speak, write and read a second language is a plus
13. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Basic level skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook with the ability to learn other basic computer programs.
